Schedule
There are 4 groups of swimmers. Red Bellies are the younger less experienced group, followed by the Yellow Fins, then Orange Tails and the Silverbacks are the more experienced older swimmers.
Season starts May 1, 2012.
Swim Meets
There are several swim meets throughout June and July for everyone of all levels to attend.

Officials
Mia Kruger is our officials coordinator. Every swim meet heavily relies on volunteers for timing, stroke and turn, etc.
Please contact Mia to sign up to be an official at swim meets.
Swim Meet Clinics
SOUTHERN REGION OFFICIALS CLINICS – SATURDAY, MAY 12TH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY
ADDRESS: 2500 University Drive N.W. Calgary, AB, T2N 1N4
DATE: Saturday, May 12th at 9:00 a.m.
The following clinics will be held:
- Level 1
- Stroke and Turn
- Chief Timer
- Clerk of Course
- Recorder/Scorer/Chief Finish Judge
- Starter
- Meet Manager
Please attend the Kinesiology Building Atrium near room KNB133. We will direct you to the appropriate location from there.
Please print off the course material prior to attending at http://www.swimofficials.ca/clinics/index.php.
The Electronics course will be held at the CSI meet on June 2nd after the completion of the morning session.
Fundraising
Fundraising is a key part of the club in order to help keep our fees down. There are several options to choose from to meet your fundraising commitment.

Each swimmer is expected to raise $200.
Volunteering
This year we have implemented a $250 per family volunteer bond. There will be several opportunities throughout the season to volunteer in some capacity. If you do not wish to volunteer, then your cheque will be deposited in August at the end of the swim season.
